Our Story
Valor Mechanical was started by Ty Bestor after working his way up in the industry for 30+ years. Born and raised in Harmony, Minnesota, he experienced the importance of integrity, trust, and relationships while working for his father's plumbing and heating business in his rural hometown. Ty left the family business in 1999 to gain experience in mechanical construction in the Rochester and Austin markets where he worked in estimating, project management, and business development.
With a desire to run a mechanical company based off those small-town values, Ty launched Valor Mechanical in September of 2012. Today, Valor is a true family business, with Ty's son Taylor Bestor, a commercial pipefitter, managing the construction field, and Ty's son-in-law Joe West, an experienced HVAC service technician, managing Valor's service team. As a family-run business, it's important to us that our employees and client feel like family, too.

We will never suggest a solution to our clients that we wouldn't suggest to our own family members.
